Chef Mark Lowery
Chef Mark Lowery brings decades of culinary experience and a passion for hospitality to every plate he creates. His journey began at age 15, cooking in his grandfather’s restaurants in the Blue Ridge, Georgia area, before attending the Culinary Institute of America in Atlanta and working in a variety of full-service restaurants. Mark credits his time at Farm 58 in Dunlap with shaping his deep respect for ingredients, sustainable farming, and thoughtful cooking. He later served as Executive Chef at Common Table, where he led catering and special events while earning top honors, including a win at Bacon & Barrel in 2022 and consecutive runner up finishes in Burger Week. Today, as the chef behind Johnny Poppers, Mark continues to pursue exceptional food through creativity, craftsmanship, and a commit to memorable dining experiences. Mark and his team will be providing a delicious meal with fresh milled grain bread and Farm 58 Ingredients.

Juan and Melody DeVevo of Casting Crowns
Juan and Melodee DeVevo have been in the band Casting Crowns since its youth group praise band days beginning in 1999. Having served in church ministry most of their lives, Juan and Melodee have a heart for leading God’s church in true worship and caring for those in pastoral ministry and the Christian creative community. Begin the conference with a powerful time of worship led by Juan and Melody DeVevo of Casting Crowns. Together, we’ll lift our voices, quiet the distractions around us, and turn our hearts fully toward God. This opening session is an invitation to enter the weekend with expectation—to worship freely, encounter His presence, and prepare our hearts for all He wants to do in the days ahead.

Together, they’ll share how God has led the journey, the lessons learned along the way, and the heart that continues to guide the mission forward.
